Three Premier League giants, Chelsea, Arsenal along with Manchester United didn’t find much problems in advancing into the next round of FA Cup after eliminating their opponents on Saturday.
Playing at Stamford Bridge, The Blues dominated their opponent, Nottingham Forest, since early minutes but Maurizio Sarri’s men had some struggle in scoring during the first 45 minutes.
Things finally opened up for Chelsea early in the second half as Alvaro Morata opened his team’s scoring on 49 minutes.
The Spanish international netted his second 10 minutes later to practically secure the match while completing his brace, giving that bit of needed confidence for the struggling striker.
Arsenal themselves picked up a 3-0 away victory over Blackpool with youngster Joseph Willock putting on an excellent display scoring two first half goals on 11 and 37 minutes.
The Gunners completed their 3-0 victory with a third goal scored by Alex Iwobi eight minutes from time.
Man United still continuing their winning streak under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer reign as they defeated Reading 2-0.
The Red Devils sealed the match during the first 45 minutes with two goals scored in that period from Juan Mata’s penalty on 22 minutes along with Romelu Lukaku’s effort just before half time break.
