Man City Comfortable Winner, Man United Stunned in Premier League Saturday

Contrasting results arrived for two Manchester teams as Pep Guardioal’s side picked up all three points on their home fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion, while Jose Mourinho’s men suffered a disappointing loss over West Ham.

Playing in front of their home crowd, City were very determined in grabbing all three points as they put on their attacking approach straight from kick off.

Guardiola’s men finally got themselves the break through just before the half hour mark, thanks to their winger, Raheem Sterling, who gave them a slender lead going into half time break.

Only taking a one goal lead given City that extra determination to keep pushing hard and they eventually got that second goal, which was netted by Sergio Aguero on the 65 minutes, which also sealed the match.

Meanwhile, things got even more tougher for Mourinho and his squad as they found themselves beaten 3-1 by West Ham.

Determined to get themselves back into winning ways after two disappointing results, United found themselves going one goal down instead as Felipe Anderson opened the scoring after just five minutes of play.

The visitor tried to get an equalizing goal, but just before half time break, luck was on West Ham favor as they netted their second through an own goal from Viktor Lindelof.

Mourinho’s men did manage to pull one back, midway into the second half through Marcus Rashford’s effort, but Marko Arnautovic’s goal within just three minutes later, restored the home team’s two goal margin.

That 3-1 result lasted until the full time whistle as no more goals were scored in the remaining minutes, an excellent result for West Ham as they starting to find their way, while things starting to go south again for United.
