Manchester City remain comfortable sitting top of English Premier League standings following an impressive 5-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.
Drawing their last league fixture, Man City were very eager to redeem that result as they immediately push forward vigorously and got themselves in front after just three minutes through Raheem Sterling.
That goal didn’t last until half time break though as Leicester reacted well after going down and were able to get back on level terms, thanks to Jamie Vardy’s effort on 28 minutes.
Not keen on dropping more points, City came out gun blazing in the second period and shortly after the re-start they regained their lead, this time with a goal from Sergio Aguero.
The Argentinian international was sublime in that second period as he added his second soon afterwards, before eventually scoring two more goals to complete his quart-trick, scoring four in one game.
That match swiftly turned into a demolition in the second half, something that Leicester were not anticipating, at least after their success in holding the league leader during the first 45 minutes.
Another dominant victory for Man City as they can now comfortably gear themselves for upcoming Champions League clash against Swiss outfit, FC Basel.
