Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor have confirmed the signing of Nigerian international midfielder Mikel Agu.
The midfielder joins the Turkish outfit on a season-long loan from Portuguese giants FC Porto.
“I’m delighted to join Bursaspor, I came here for business and I can’t wait to show everyone what I can do,” Agu told the club’s official website.
“I spoke with some players who had previously played here in Porto and received positive feedback. I also found out during my own research that this is a great club,” said Agu.
It would be Agu’s third loan spell since 2012 after joining Vitoria Setubal on loan last season.
The midfielder would be joining Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong at the club who also signed with the Portuguese team this summer.
Oh, and don’t worry, Mikel is still in China.
