Mikel Missing Again As Rohr Recall Isaac Success For Libya Showdown. See Full List

Mikel Obi will again stay out of this month’s AFCON double header against Libya just as coach Gernot Rohr has recalled Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon and William Ekong.

Mikel, it was gathered, opted to again stay away from the Libya matches just as he did for the AFCON qualifier against Seychelles last month.

Udinese defender William Troost Ekong and Moses Simon, who missed the match against Seychelles through injury, as well as Alex Iwobi, who was ill, have returned.

Watford striker Isaac Success is the only fresh call-up from last month’s call-ups.

Nigeria host the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, 13th October with the return scheduled for the 18,000 –capacity Stade Taïeb Mhiri in the city of Sfax, Tunisia on Tuesday, 16th October.

All invited players are to report in the Akwa Ibom State capital on Monday, 8th October 2018.
