Netherlands Added More Woes to Germany in UEFA Nations League

Germany’s ambition to get themselves back on track after a disappointing World Cup 2018 still far from being a reality as Joachim Low’s men suffered 3-0 defeat from Netherlands in their latest UEFA Nations League fixtures.

losing their opening fixture in the tournament, Ronald Koeman’s men were very determined in grabbing all three points as they push forward aggressively straight from kick off.

The home team’s effort was rewarded when Virgil Van Dijk’s puts them in front after 30 minutes of play, giving his team a slender lead as they go into half time break.

Germany tried to push forward harder as they search for an equalizing goal, but instead of drawing level, things got worse for Low’s men in the final five minutes of that tie.

Netherlands were able to double their advantage, this time through Memphis Depay’s effort, who scored on 86 minutes, putting Germany in difficult situation as they won’t have too much time to come back from two goals down.

Things ended more disappointing for the visitor as they conceded a third goal in stoppage time as Koeman’s boys netted home another one from Georginio Wijnaldum giving the Dutch a very comfortable score line.

That result pretty much summed up Germany’s recent poor form in international football as they haven’t scored any goals on their last three competitive fixtures, dating back from their 2-0 defeat in World Cup by Korea Republic.

Low’s men also failed to score any goals during their UEFA Nations League opening game as they drew 0-0 against France.
