Ronaldo’s Goal Sent Morocco Out of World Cup 2018

Cristiano Ronaldo continuing his goal scoring prowess as he rallied his country, Portugal, into grabbing their first victory in 2018 World Cup, beating Morocco 1-0.

Selecao Das Quinas arrived on the pitch in a confident mood following their 3-3 draw over Spain, and that strong beliefs is shown early on as they put such intense pressure since kick off.

The early goal triggered Morocco to push forward vigorously in search of that equalizing goal, creating an interesting battle between both teams.

However, combination of poor finishing and final pass in that final third simply hurt Morocco as they struggle to score any goals in that match.

Eventually, no more goals were scored by either teams until the final whistle was blown as Portugal able to hold their slender lead.

That win is certainly important for Selecao das Quinas since that’s what they desperately need in grabbing their shot of advancing into the knock out stage of World Cup 2018 in Russia.
