One of the front liners of Nigerian reggae music, Ras Kimono is no more but his music will always be on our lips.
With four albums to his name, Under Pressure (1989), We No Wan (1989), What’s Gwan (1990), Rub A Dub (1990) the singer was influenced by the poverty, inequality and hardship he witnessed in his early life.
On today’s Throwback Series, we share with you his 1989 hit record “Under Pressure” which explored some of the societal ills in Nigeria and the world at large.
