Arsenal could be heading towards a £60 million swoop for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir but may face competition from Barcelona, according to the Mail.
It reports that the Gunners “are deep in discussions about a move for the France international,” who has scored 11 club goals this season.
They hope the 24-year-old can be reunited with ex-Lyon colleague Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates Stadium amid continuing uncertainty over the futures of both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
The fly in the ointment, the Mail warns, is that Barcelona may yet attempt to bring Fekir to the Camp Nou.
However, it says that will only happen “if they are unable to push through a deal for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.”
Spurs Keen On Watford’s Richarlison
Watford have made a fine start to the season with Brazilian attacker Richarlison at the heart of it, and the Mirror reports that he is already attracting attention.
It says Tottenham Hotspur “are keeping tabs” on the 20-year-old, with their scouts “regulars at Watford games.”
Richarlison has scored four Premier League goals so far, giving the Hornets a new dimension with his speed and flair.
And the Mirror says he “possesses the pace, goal threat and versatility in attacking positions that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add to his squad.”
However, the Brazil Under-20 international — who signed a five-year deal when he moved from Fluminense in the summer — has told ESPN he wants to “write history at Watford and be remembered by the crowd.”
United ‘Ready To Bid For Forsberg’
The RB Leipzig hierarchy were none too impressed when summer speculation linked Emil Forsberg with Liverpool, AC Milan and Arsenal.
So they probably won’t be too thrilled to find the Mirror reporting that you can add Manchester United to the list of those interested in the Sweden international.
It says United boss Jose Mourinho watched winger Forsberg in action as Sweden beat Italy in their World Cup playoff first leg last week.
And Mourinho was so impressed that he is “weighing up a move to take the flier to Old Trafford” in the winter window.
Forsberg, 26, is under contract at Leipzig until 2022, but his agent said earlier in the year that he “wants to make the next step in his career.”
Liverpool Want Former Star, Plus Goretzka, If Coutinho Moves On
Liverpool could reportedly move for one of their former midfielders, if Philippe Coutinho completes a move to Barcelona.
The Brazilian has been heavily tipped to move to the Nou Camp in January, with the Reds having rejected three moves for his services over the summer.
Barcelona’s proposed move for the Brazil star – who should make his return from injury as England face the Samba stars at Wembley on Tuesday – comes despite Coutinho admitting he was “content” in the Premier League.
However, with reports suggesting Liverpool could finally sell for a fee of around £104million, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been tipped to spend the money on two quality additions.
According to the Daily Star, Klopp will move for AC Milan midfielder Suso, who left Anfield in 2015 in a €1.3million move to the San Siro.
Since his Anfield departure, Suso has become one of the club’s leading lights, often seeing himself linked with a return to England, with Tottenham among his admirers.
The Spaniard, 23, recently signed a new five-year deal at the San Siro, tying him to the club until 2022. Tellingly, however, his new deal only contains a release of £35million – a fee hardly likely to scare Liverpool.
As well as a possible deal for Suso, Liverpool are also expected to sign Leon Goretzka. Reports on Monday suggesting the Schalke star has agreed a move to Anfield in January.
Atletico Make Ozil Contact
Atletico Madrid have contacted Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil over a possible summer move, according to The Sun.
The Germany international will be out of contract at the end of the season, allowing him to potentially sign a pre-contract with a new club in January. Atletico are willing to offer Ozil a salary of £200,000-a-week and a significant signing-on fee, though that falls short of the £330,000-a-week number his representatives have requested from Arsenal.
Ozil could be tempted by a return to Madrid, however, after enjoying success at Santiago Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013.
Man Utd Want Atletico Star
Manchester United want to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, who has a €150 million release clause in his contract, claims The Sun .
Jose Mourinho is looking to increase the creative options in his squad and fancies adding Saul to his ranks next summer.
Mourinho will also fend off Atletico’s interest in Ander Herrera, with United to trigger the 12-month option in the Spain midfielder’s contract.
West Ham Target Liverpool Striker
New West Ham United boss David Moyes is lining up a January loan deal for Liverpool striker Danny Ings, according to The Sun .
Moyes is looking to improve his attacking options after replacing Slaven Bilic at the London Stadium and was previously interested in Ings when he was Real Sociedad coach.
Ings is working his way back to full fitness after a serious injury and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is willing to let the forward go out on loan in the New Year. Others
