Shine Rosman has spoken about the financial realities in the Nigerian film industry, saying many actors are not as financially comfortable as the public believes.
Speaking on a podcast hosted by fellow actor Baaj Adebule, the To Kill a Monkey actress explained that fame often creates the false impression that Nollywood stars are wealthy.
She noted that while some entertainers appear financially stable, many rely on income sources outside acting, such as businesses or side ventures, to sustain themselves.
Rosman added that acting alone is often not enough to provide financial security for a large number of practitioners in the industry, stressing that many are still struggling despite their visibility on screen and social media.
