Nollywood actress, Temi Otedola, has said she has no intention of sharing her child on social media, stressing that she wants to protect her baby from public attention.

Naija Brain reports that the actress made the disclosure during an episode of the How Far podcast.

Temi, who is married to singer Mr Eazi, explained that there is a significant difference between parents with a small social media following posting their children and public figures with millions of followers doing the same.

According to the Citation actress, videos featuring children often attract a high number of saves and engagements online, a trend she finds unsettling.

She said this informed her decision not to make her future child part of her public image or social media content, adding that the child did not choose a life in the spotlight.

She said, “Posting your kid when you have 100 followers and 1M followers isn’t the same thing, the interest is different. I see kids' content on TikTok with 30k saves and ask myself who’s actually saving this. I won’t post my child because it’s not part of my public brand. I am not going to integrate my child into my public life because they haven’t chosen to be public.”

Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi are expecting their first child together.

The couple announced the pregnancy in May through a joint social media post, months after celebrating their wedding with ceremonies held in Monaco, Dubai and Iceland in 2025.
