Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotions he experienced after learning that his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, was expecting triplets.
Naija Brain reports that the actor, in an interview with Morayo Afolabi, described the news as both shocking and overwhelming, noting that the couple's long wait to become parents made the moment even more special.
According to him, the unexpected blessing of expecting three children at once made every moment of waiting worthwhile.
Lateef also spoke about supporting his wife throughout the pregnancy, saying he remained by her side and ensured she received the care she needed. However, he commended Mo Bimpe for her resilience and strength during the journey.
The actor further disclosed that he was present in the delivery room when their sons were born, explaining that he wanted to share the experience with his wife rather than wait outside.
Describing childbirth as a remarkable yet challenging process, he praised women for their courage and endurance.
He said, “It was shocking for me. At the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something and it comes beyond your expectations, it means the waiting was not a bad one. When you’ve been hoping and expecting, and it finally happens, you naturally want to pamper her, but she’s a strong woman.
“I could not stay back. We did it together, and we are in it together. I was right there and saw everything happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to women. Well done.”
Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe welcomed their triplet sons in May 2026 after keeping the pregnancy away from the public.
Following the birth, the actor announced the arrival of their children on social media, expressing gratitude for the new chapter in their family.
The couple got married in December 2021 after years of friendship and collaboration in the Nigerian film industry.
