Strongman Teams Up With Tinny On New Single “Yaanom”
Ghanaian rapper Strongman has released his latest single, “Yaanom,” featuring veteran Ghanaian artist Tinny.
Produced by ATown TSB, the track brings together two generations of Ghanaian hip-hop, blending Strongman’s contemporary rap style with Tinny’s veteran Hiplife influence over a hard-hitting production.
The title “Yaanom,” a Twi expression meaning “those people” or referring broadly to a group of people, serves as a bold statement of identity, confidence and lyrical dominance.
Strongman showcases his trademark punchlines and rapid-fire Twi delivery, while Tinny complements the record with his distinctive Ga flow and seasoned vocal presence.
ATown TSB’s production combines heavy 808 basslines with crisp drums, creating an energetic backdrop that allows both rappers to showcase their individual styles.
The collaboration also represents a meeting point between Kumasi’s modern rap scene and Accra’s rich Hiplife tradition, highlighting the evolution and diversity of Ghanaian hip-hop.
