Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has shared an unusual experience he claims to have had with people he identified as witches.
Omisore said he was once invited to a meeting to resolve a dispute involving him after a woman allegedly accused him of offending her.
According to the actor, he had no prior relationship with the woman and was surprised when he was informed that the matter had been taken before a group she reportedly belonged to.
He said he eventually agreed to attend the meeting and was confronted with what he described as a strange gathering.
Omisore claimed that the people at the meeting did not look like the stereotypical witches often portrayed in Nollywood films. Instead, he said they appeared in ordinary traditional clothing.
The actor also recalled seeing some unusual objects and situations during the encounter, which he said left a lasting impression on him.
He maintained that the experience strengthened his belief that witches exist, adding that he was able to leave the meeting and return home afterwards.
Omisore's account has since generated reactions, particularly because of his claim that he personally attended a meeting involving people he believed to be witches.
The actor's revelation has also sparked conversations about the difference between the way witchcraft is portrayed in Nigerian movies and the experiences people claim to have encountered in real life.
