Quadri shared a longstanding relationship with Hassan and was among the industry colleagues who stood by the actor and his family during his illness.
Other notable Nollywood personalities who attended the burial included veteran actor Jide Kosoko, as well as actresses Ireti Osayemi and Femi Adebayo, among several other colleagues and friends of the deceased.
Naija Brain recalls that Hassan died at about 3 p.m. on Sunday at the age of 66, according to an announcement by Kosoko on Instagram.
Following his death, Kosoko disclosed that the actor’s remains would be taken to his hometown of Ilaro, where a lying-in-state ceremony would be held before his burial.
The funeral arrangements subsequently brought together family members, colleagues and sympathisers who gathered in the town on Monday to honour the late actor.
Ogogo’s death came shortly after his daughters, Kaira and Lima Taiwo, publicly appealed for assistance to help secure medical treatment for their father.
The actor had been battling stage-four cancer, with his family seeking urgent medical intervention as his condition worsened.
Kaira had earlier revealed that doctors treating her father could no longer continue chemotherapy due to the severity of his condition.
