Nollywood actress Priscilla Ojo has scored a major legal victory against controversial actress Lizzy Anjorin as a Lagos court moves to stop her from posting or circulating content about Priscilla’s family.
The development comes amid the actresses’ bitter and long-running feud, which has repeatedly spilled onto social media.
Priscilla, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their one-year-old son, Rakeem Mkambala, had approached the court following a series of alleged attacks involving their family.
On Wednesday, September 2, the High Court of Lagos State granted an interim order restraining Lizzy Anjorin from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting pictures of little Rakeem on her social media platforms.
The court, presided over by Justice Y.M.A. Adesanya, also restrained Lizzy and anyone acting on her behalf from publishing or broadcasting editorials concerning Priscilla and her family on the social media accounts listed in the order.
Priscilla subsequently took to social media to share screenshots of the court order with her followers.
The court development represents a significant twist in the explosive feud between the two actresses.
How the drama started
The latest legal battle comes after months of back-and-forth attacks between Lizzy and Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo.
Lizzy had previously slammed Iyabo for attending Soso Soberekon’s wedding with Priscilla, alleging that the actress was broke and poor.
Priscilla hit back, insisting that she was an adult and would not attend an event where she was not invited. She also disclosed that she was building a case against Lizzy and described her as mentally ill.
Lizzy refused to back down.
Instead, she fired more allegations at the mother and daughter, insisting that they would not succeed in taking legal action against her.
She also accused Iyabo and Priscilla of being behind certain social media activities targeting her, alleging that a photo of her four-year-old daughter had been circulated alongside a court document.
Lizzy further claimed she had more than 500 pieces of evidence against them and vowed to keep speaking about the family.
Iyabo Ojo’s legal battle with Lizzy
The explosive feud has also produced a major legal battle between Lizzy and Iyabo.
Iyabo had threatened to sue Lizzy, demanding a public apology or N500 million over an alleged libellous publication.
However, in 2024, a Lagos court dismissed Iyabo’s N1 billion defamation suit against Lizzy.
Lizzy celebrated the court development and took another swipe at Iyabo.
Earlier this year, Lizzy also accused Iyabo of having a hand in the death of singer Destiny Boy.
In an apparent response, Iyabo urged her fans to leave Lizzy alone, claiming that the actress needed help and medical treatment. She also questioned why Lizzy’s husband had not taken her to a mental health facility.
From courtroom to boxing ring
The feud took an even more dramatic turn in May when Iyabo challenged Lizzy to a boxing match.
After sharing videos of herself training, Iyabo called on billionaire businessman E-Money and music executive Soso Soberekon to sponsor the proposed showdown.
Lizzy accepted the challenge but described Iyabo as a failed actress with zero achievements.
She later dragged Iyabo’s partner, Paulo, into the drama after he suggested that both actresses settle their differences in the ring.
Lizzy challenged Paulo to fight 10 rounds nonstop, insisting he should do so just as she claimed her husband would.
With the latest court order now restricting Lizzy from publishing content about Priscilla’s family, the bitter feud appears to have entered a new and potentially more serious chapter.
