In a market where finding a reliable plumber, electrician, makeup artist, or other skilled professional can mean relying on word-of-mouth referrals or scrolling endlessly through social media, Keefa is building a digital solution to make the process simpler and more organised.
As Founder and Product Lead of KIK-Konnect, Keefa is developing a platform designed to connect customers with trusted service professionals across Nigeria, bringing structure to a sector that has long operated through informal networks and personal recommendations.
Solving a Familiar Problem
For millions of Nigerians, finding the right artisan or service provider remains a fragmented experience. Customers often depend on friends and family for referrals, search through social media, or navigate informal networks with little consistency around pricing, availability, quality, or reliability.
KIK-Konnect aims to change that by creating a structured digital marketplace where customers can discover service professionals more efficiently, while giving skilled workers a platform to reach a broader customer base.
The ambition goes beyond simply putting service providers online. It is about creating a more organised ecosystem that makes everyday transactions easier, more transparent, and more dependable for both sides.
A Product-Led Approach to Entrepreneurship
Keefa’s entrepreneurial journey is driven by a simple principle: identify real problems and build practical products around them.
As Founder and Product Lead, he has played a hands-on role in shaping KIK-Konnect’s product strategy, business model, user experience, partnerships, and operational systems.
His approach combines product thinking with a strong focus on consumer behaviour and sustainable business operations. His academic background in Food Science and Food Chemistry has also shaped his problem-solving mindset, particularly through disciplines such as formulation, quality control, analytical thinking, and structured processes—skills he has carried into digital product development.
Building Beyond KIK-Konnect
Keefa’s entrepreneurial interests extend beyond KIK-Konnect. He also serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of KIKGLOBAL Group Limited, where he oversees business development, product development, venture building, and strategic growth across the group’s portfolio.
The group’s interests include Kik Perfumes, a consumer fragrance venture, alongside investments in commercial real estate.
Across these ventures, Keefa’s approach centres on long-term thinking, operational discipline, and developing products and businesses that address practical market needs.
Digitising Nigeria’s Service Economy
KIK-Konnect sits within a broader opportunity created by Nigeria’s large and largely informal service economy.
By connecting customers with skilled professionals through a structured digital platform, the business is positioning itself at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and everyday consumer needs.
For Keefa, the goal extends beyond building another digital marketplace. It is about creating a system that delivers value to ordinary Nigerians—helping customers find the services they need while giving professionals greater visibility and access to new opportunities.
If successful, platforms like KIK-Konnect could play a role in moving Nigeria’s fragmented service sector toward a more organised, accessible, and digitally enabled future.
