Portable has released a romantic song dedicated to his wife, Bewaji.
In a video shared on Instagram, the singer reflected on how dramatically his life has changed, saying people now look at him differently. He also reassured his wife of his loyalty, promising never to leave her for another woman despite the attention he receives from other ladies.
“When did my life turn into magic? Everyone now looks at me like a zombie. My love, my darling, I will never leave you for another, even with all the girls chasing after me.” — Portable
The song appears to be a subtle apology to his wife amid reports that Portable allegedly welcomed a baby boy with one of the managers at his Odogwu bar.
Reacting to his post, many social media users shared mixed opinions. Some accused him of turning to his wife whenever he faces controversy, while others praised Bewaji for being understanding and supportive. A few commenters also questioned why he hadn’t publicly acknowledged the alleged child with his manager.
Last week, Portable’s wife, Bewaji, announced the birth of their third child together, a baby boy named Temilorun. The singer later shared photos of himself with the newborn, expressing gratitude to his wife and celebrating the newest addition to their family.
Portable, who is married to Bewaji, has children with multiple women, including actress Ashabi Simple.
Over the years, the singer has repeatedly spoken about his complicated relationships. In January, he criticized the women in his life while showing off a new car, claiming he preferred spending money on himself. He has also publicly called out his wife over a lack of support, while at other times reaffirming his love for her and insisting she remains his only legal wife.
