Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked intense backlash online after asserting that any man who forgives an unfaithful wife is bound to regret it.
According to Naija Brain, Edochie’s comments came in the wake of a highly publicized marriage scandal involving media personality Frank Edoho. Weighing in on the situation, the controversial actor advised men to terminate their marriages immediately if infidelity is discovered.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Edochie argued that attempting to forgive a cheating spouse is a sign of weakness. He claimed that lenient husbands inadvertently grant their wives a license to repeat the offense, warning that women have no respect for weak men.
His post read:
“Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense all in the name of marriage. Don’t negotiate anything with her.
Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on. If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man. Danger looms for you. That decision will come back later to hunt you. Women deal mercilessly with weak men.”
