Phyna Retracts Kidnap Claim, Says Cameraman Was Arrested for Drugs
Reality TV star Phyna has walked back her claims that her cameraman was abducted, admitting he was actually arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. The Big Brother Naija winner issued a social media clarification after an earlier video she posted triggered widespread concern online.
According to Phyna, she later discovered that officers searched her cameraman and uncovered a crusher alongside a partly smoked substance suspected to be cannabis. This discovery prompted his arrest, though she noted the matter has now been resolved.
Apologizing for the misinformation, Phyna urged the public to disregard her previous statements. "The group of men who I initially called kidnappers are actually Nigerian police force," she stated.
On a separate note, the reality star also shared her personal aspirations for the near future, revealing that becoming a mother is one of her primary goals before the end of the year or in early 2027.
