Organisers of the National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally 2026 have set up a high-profile entertainment committee chaired by Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu in preparation for the May 5 event at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
The initiative, linked to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, announced the committee via its official Instagram page.
According to the organisers, the committee will oversee cultural and creative activities at the rally.
The event, themed “The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!!,” is expected to attract millions of women from across Nigeria.
They described the rally as more than just entertainment, but a movement aimed at celebrating women while showcasing culture through creativity and unity.
“This is more than entertainment; it is the spirit of the movement in motion—celebrating women, showcasing culture, and inspiring a nation through creativity and unity,” the statement said.
The committee’s co-chairpersons include Hannatu Musa Musawa, Rachael Umahi, Ramatu Tijani, Rahama Sadau, Eniola Badmus, General Deaconess Ngozi Okoh, and Tola Akerele.
The lineup also features top government officials and Nollywood figures.
