BNXN: "Lagos is Super Expensive" Compared to Los Angeles
Speaking during a recent TikTok livestream, BNXN shared his experiences living in the United States, arguing that despite the high cost of housing, daily life in LA feels less financially draining and stressful than in Lagos.
"Lagos is super expensive. It is more expensive than Los Angeles," BNXN stated. "Aside from housing, every other thing in LA is not expensive. For instance, I am paying $12,000 monthly for my rent. Here you just pay your rent, and you’re good."
The singer also highlighted the structured nature of life in the US, noting a distinct lack of street-level financial pressure. He pointed out that despite local economic struggles in America, no one had approached him for unsolicited money since his arrival—a sharp contrast to his experiences in Lagos.
