Nigerian music star Asake has etched his name into Spotify's history books after becoming the first artiste to release a full-length concert film on the streaming platform with his acclaimed live production, M$NEY Live in London.
Filmed during an exclusive performance at London's historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the concert transforms Asake's latest album, M$NEY, into a cinematic live experience. The show featured breathtaking visuals, a live orchestra, a gospel choir and electrifying performances that showcased the singer's artistic evolution.
The concert, attended by nearly 2,000 invited fans and some of Asake's biggest Spotify listeners, also featured the surprise debut of four unreleased songs, making it one of the most memorable moments of his career.
Describing the project as a celebration of growth, ambition and gratitude, Asake said the film offers fans a deeper look into the creative world behind M$NEY. Alongside the visual release, Spotify has also made the live performance available as an exclusive live album.
The milestone further reinforces Asake's growing global influence while highlighting Afrobeats' continued rise on the international stage, with the Nigerian hitmaker once again pushing the boundaries of music and live entertainment.
