Nollywood filmmaker Biodun Stephen has addressed concerns over the growing number of kissing scenes in Nigerian movies, making it clear that no actor is ever forced to take part in intimate scenes.
Speaking on the issue, the award-winning producer said every actor has the freedom to accept or reject such scenes. She explained that if an actor is uncomfortable, the script can be adjusted to respect their personal boundaries.
Stephen added that while romantic scenes can sometimes help tell a love story convincingly, they should never come at the expense of an actor's comfort or consent.
