Bella Shmurda Alleges $4 Million Fraud In Lagos Property Deal
Nigerian Afrobeats singer Bella Shmurda has alleged that he lost $4 million in a fraudulent property transaction in Lagos after discovering that the person who sold him the property was not its rightful owner.
The singer claimed he paid the full amount for the property before later learning that it had allegedly been sold to him illegally. He further alleged that the seller disappeared after receiving the payment.
Speaking about the incident, Bella Shmurda appealed to Nigerians for support, saying:
“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property. And now the seller has disappeared.”
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no public response from the alleged seller, while law enforcement authorities have not announced any arrest or filed charges over the matter.
