Davido has officially announced that his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, will be released on July 31, 2026.

ORIADÉ will contain 13 tracks, making it Davido’s shortest studio album to date. His previous projects — Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023) and 5ive (2025) — each featured 17 tracks. Over the years, the award-winning singer has released several hit songs, including Dami Duro, Fall, If, Risky, FEM, Jowo, Unavailable and With You featuring Omah Lay.

Speaking about ORIADÉ in separate interviews, Davido said the project represents a return to the sound that first brought him widespread acclaim.

“The recent music I’ve been working on is really, really African. I’m taking it back to my original Davido kind of music,” he said.

The album also marks the singer’s second consecutive annual release, arriving just a year after 5ive was released in 2025.

Expectations are high following the commercial and critical success of 5ive, which spawned With You featuring Omah Lay, one of the biggest Afrobeats records of 2025. The album also earned Davido another Grammy nomination and was backed by a successful world tour. In Nigeria, he further promoted the project with a nationwide tour that included performances across the country's northern, southern, eastern and western regions, giving fans nationwide the opportunity to experience the album live.
