Kiekie Explains Why She Won’t Work With Vulgar "Skit Maker"

Nigerian content creator and Nollywood actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has revealed why she refuses to collaborate with certain skit makers in the entertainment industry.

Kiekie made the disclosure during a recent podcast interview, stating that she would never work with content creators whose skits she considers overly vulgar or indecent because they do not align with her personal brand.

According to the actress, her decision is not a criticism of their talent or hard work but a matter of maintaining brand identity and protecting her commercial partnerships.

“I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them,” she said.

When asked to mention a specific name, Kiekie declined, saying she had no particular individual in mind.

“I don’t have a name of one, but I have seen quite a number of them. So if you’re too much breasts, bumbum, not that I have a problem with it, but it’s just brand alignment.

“My inability to collaborate with you doesn’t mean that I look down on what you do or I don’t respect what you do or I don’t see your hard work. I recognize your hard work, but we just don’t align. It will affect the way my own brands are approaching my own work,” she added.

Meanwhile, the actress recently explained why she lived with her husband before their white wedding.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Kiekie disclosed that they had already completed their traditional marriage rites and were making preparations for their church wedding when they began living together.

She explained that her house rent had expired at the time, and instead of renewing her lease, she chose to move in with her husband as they awaited their white wedding.
