Yoruba Nollywood actress Biola Fowosere has shared the painful story of her failed marriage, alleging that her ex-husband abandoned her and their children and has had no contact with them for the past seven years.
Speaking in a recent interview, the actress claimed her former husband suddenly cut off communication, blocking both her and the children without offering any explanation.
"He blocked us seven years ago. I'd like to know what I did wrong because I did nothing before he left," she said.
Fowosere also revealed that the emotional trauma pushed her into depression, leading to an 18-month stay in hospital before she eventually recovered.
Despite the difficult experience, the actress said she has remained focused on raising her children, while her emotional revelation has sparked sympathy and conversations about mental health, family abandonment and the challenges of single parenthood.
