She earned a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Igbinedion University, Okada.
Seeking broader international exposure, she relocated to Canada, where she pursued further studies in International Business Management before earning a second degree in Insurance and Risk Management.

She served in the Diaspora Directorate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council during the 2018–2019 and 2022–2023 election cycles, where she coordinated youth engagement initiatives across the Niger Delta region. The role strengthened her understanding of governance, public policy, political organization, and sustainable national development.
Driven by a passion to create lasting change, Hon. Irene Job answered the call to elective office in 2026 by contesting for the House of Representatives seat for the Abua/Odual/Ahoada East Federal Constituency. Following a successful primary election, she emerged as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, becoming one of the youngest female candidates seeking federal legislative office in Rivers State.
