She began her early education at the Federal Government College Staff Nursery and Primary School (SNAPS), Rumokoro, before attending MacDonald Memorial International Institute (MMII), Igwuruta, Rivers State.
She earned a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Igbinedion University, Okada.
Seeking broader international exposure, she relocated to Canada, where she pursued further studies in International Business Management before earning a second degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
In 2016, she attained the prestigious Canadian Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, one of the industry's highest professional qualifications. The certification reflects her expertise in insurance, risk management, ethics, corporate governance, and strategic leadership.

She also co-founded the Business and Management Students Association and served as its first Financial Secretary, helping establish organizational structures that encouraged student participation, leadership, and academic excellence.

In 2023, she was elected President of the MMII Class of 2003 Alumni Association, where she revitalized what had become a largely inactive alumni body into a vibrant global network connecting members across Nigeria and the diaspora.

She served in the Diaspora Directorate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council during the 2018–2019 and 2022–2023 election cycles, where she coordinated youth engagement initiatives across the Niger Delta region. The role strengthened her understanding of governance, public policy, political organization, and sustainable national development.
Driven by a passion to create lasting change, Hon. Irene Job answered the call to elective office in 2026 by contesting for the House of Representatives seat for the Abua/Odual/Ahoada East Federal Constituency. Following a successful primary election, she emerged as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, becoming one of the youngest female candidates seeking federal legislative office in Rivers State.
