MTN Nigeria is taking Nigerians down memory lane with its Y’ello Street Experience, a nostalgic showcase celebrating 25 years of mobile communication in the country.
The week-long event, taking place from August 10 to 17 at MTN Plaza, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, highlights the dramatic transformation of communication over the years.
Visitors can explore the evolution from the days of basic voice calls and SMS to the era of smartphones, mobile internet, digital platforms and other modern communication services.
The experience is designed to remind Nigerians of how much mobile technology has changed while celebrating the role telecommunications has played in connecting people and transforming everyday life.
The nostalgic showcase is also allowing visitors to reflect on their earliest mobile phones and the different ways Nigerians communicated before smartphones and social media became commonplace.
