Former BBNaija housemate, Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has revealed that he rejected offers of ₦500 million and $200,000 from men seeking to sleep with him.
Cross made the revelation on 𝕏 while defending fellow reality TV star, Whitemoney, who recently shared an unsolicited DM from a man who addressed him as “papi” and made an unwanted advance.
Cross argued that feminine mannerisms do not necessarily indicate a man’s sexual orientation and supported Whitemoney’s decision to expose the message while cautioning people against sending inappropriate DMs.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has disclosed that he turned down offers worth ₦500 million and $200,000 from men who wanted to have s3x with him.
Cross made the disclosure while reacting to a post by fellow reality star, Whitemoney, on 𝕏.
Whitemoney had shared a screenshot of a message from a man who addressed him as “papi” and appeared to make an unwanted advance.
In his reaction, Cross defended Whitemoney and maintained that a man’s feminine mannerisms should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of his sexual orientation.
He also warned people against sending inappropriate messages to others, saying he had personally received offers involving substantial sums of money in exchange for s3x.
Naija Brain reports that Cross made the disclosure on 𝕏 while reacting to comments by fellow reality TV star, Whitemoney.
Whitemoney had earlier revealed that he received an unwanted advance from a man through social media.
The reality star spoke about the incident after the man reportedly sent him a direct message addressing him as “papi” and expressing romantic interest in him.
Reacting to the controversy, Cross argued that a man displaying feminine mannerisms should not automatically be assumed to be attracted to men.
According to him, a person’s appearance, mannerisms or demeanour does not determine their sexual orientation.
The reality TV star also disclosed that he had previously received substantial financial offers from men in exchange for s3x, but turned them down despite the amounts involved.
Cross said he could not be swayed by money or material possessions, attributing his stance to the values instilled in him by his mother while growing up.
He wrote:
“You all should leave Whitemoney alone. A man can have feminine energy and still be 100% straight. I have been offered ₦500 million and $200,000 to sleep with a man, and I refused. And many other offers also. You can’t buy me with money or material things; that’s something my mum taught me from childhood. Whitemoney is right to post that man.
“If I was to post my DMs, will you be mad at me also? Some men are so stupid. They send you rubbish in your DMs and think it’s okay to send things to people. I understand some people play and go down like that, especially in our community and industry. But be cautious because it’s not everyone that plays like that.
“And as a man, if you like your fellow man, you need deliverance; there is a spirit in you making you do such evil. And this goes to women also, not just men. We will pray for you because Jesus loves you too.”
