Nigerian singer and Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, Logos Olori, has praised his boss, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, for his relentless work ethic despite coming from a wealthy background.
Naija Brain reports that Logos Olori made the remark during a recent episode of the Wahala Podcast, where he spoke about Davido’s passion and dedication to music.
According to Olori, Davido is not driven by the financial rewards of music but by his passion and the competition within the industry.
He said:
“Davido works like he doesn’t have money. I feel like the competition drives him. He is very passionate. I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun.”
Olori also revealed that Davido signed him to DMW after he contributed to the writing of the hit song ‘Unavailable’.
The singer further disclosed that he was living comfortably in Dubai before relocating to Nigeria to pursue his music career full-time.
Rema Speaks On Davido Feud Rumours
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has addressed rumours of a feud between him and Davido.
Rema dismissed the reports, stating that there is no issue between him and the DMW boss despite speculation among fans.
The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker made this known during a recent interview with Ebro Laura Style, where he discussed comparisons among Nigerian artistes and how fans sometimes fuel unnecessary tension.
Rema maintained that he respects older artistes in the Nigerian music industry and has no problem with Davido.
