Responding to backlash over her support for BBL, Uche Ogbodo acknowledged the risks but argued that no surgery is without danger. She pointed out that people also die from procedures like fibroid operations and C-sections, urging those interested in BBL to properly educate themselves.

Addressing mothers, she encouraged them not to lose themselves in parenthood, stressing the importance of self-care and personal investment. According to her, motherhood shouldn’t come at the expense of one’s identity, mental health, or self-worth.

On the other hand, Mary Njoku advocated for natural beauty, emphasizing that a woman’s true value lies in her intellect. She urged women to build their skills and focus on substance over appearance.

Media personality Daddy Freeze criticized BBL, describing it as unnecessary and risky, saying he sees no real benefit in it.

Similarly, veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo condemned the trend, questioning its long-term value and suggesting it doesn’t necessarily lead to lasting relationships or marriage.
