The father of Ilebaye Odiniya, winner of BBNaija All Stars, Emmanuel Odiniya, has spoken about an ongoing family dispute involving the reality TV star, alleging that fame has strained their relationship.
In an emotional interview on Sunday in Abuja, he claimed that his daughter now requires him to book appointments before seeing her following her rise to stardom after winning the Big Brother Naija All Stars edition.
According to him, their once-close bond changed significantly after her success in the entertainment industry.
“She made me book an appointment before I could see her. Things are no longer the same between us,” he said.
The comments come amid a viral video showing Ilebaye in an emotional state, which sparked widespread reactions online and reportedly drew the attention of authorities.
The situation has since generated concern among fans and social media users, with many expressing worry over the reported family tension.
Former Big Brother Naija contestant Tacha Akide also reacted publicly, calling for urgent intervention after the emotional livestream went viral, saying: “Ilebaye’s face has been ruined.”
