"Let Us Protect Ourselves": Ruth Kadiri Pleads with Tinubu Over Insecurity

Nollywood Actress Ruth Kadiri Urges President Tinubu to Address Worsening Insecurity

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has made an urgent appeal to President Bola Tinubu to tackle Nigeria's escalating security crisis following the tragic killing of a teacher in Oyo State.

Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, Kadiri expressed deep concern over the pervasive fear gripping Nigerians due to frequent killings, attacks, and abductions nationwide. She emphasized that the crisis transcends politics or public criticism, pointing out that innocent citizens are losing their lives daily.

Warning that many Nigerians no longer feel safe even within their own homes, the actress called on the Federal Government to take swift action to protect lives and property.

"This is not propaganda! This is not your enemies trying to make you look bad," Kadiri wrote, tagging the President's official handle. "Dear President Tinubu, pls do something, or give us the go-ahead to protect our lives and properties. Too much death everywhere... Too many innocent lives are paying for sins they know nothing about."
