Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has seemingly shaded one of his baby mamas, Ashabi, ahead of his son’s naming ceremony.
In a video shared on his Instagram story, the singer revealed that his son’s naming ceremony was taking place today and thanked God for saving him from losing his home to a woman he accused of engaging in threesomes while claiming it was part of movie acting.
Although he didn’t mention anyone by name, many fans believe he was referring to Ashabi because of her involvement in the movie industry.
Portable praised his wife, Bewaji, saying she has no competition and expressing gratitude for his family.
“Today is my baby’s naming ceremony… Bewaji has no competition. Someone is doing threesome and calling it acting. Thank God I didn’t lose my home because of someone,” he said.
Portable is married to Bewaji, with whom he shares three children. He also has children with other women, including actress Ashabi, who has two kids with him.
The singer and Ashabi have had several public clashes in the past. Earlier this year, both accused each other of assault during a heated New Year dispute, with each sharing their side of the incident online. Ashabi later described Portable as jealous and unpredictable, saying managing their relationship has been difficult.
