Toyin Abraham Sounds Warning to TikTokers Posting Fake "RIP" Videos

Nollywood star Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has fiercely condemned a disturbing new trend on TikTok, where users are sharing montages of her photos accompanied by "Rest in Peace" (RIP) captions.

The actress took to social media on Tuesday to express her outrage over the death hoaxes, warning creators to cease and desist immediately or face severe consequences.

"I Won't Accept Apologies"

According to reports by Naija Brain, Toyin revealed that she has noticed multiple videos circulating on the platform, some featuring up to a hundred of her pictures compiled with death-related captions. What alarms her most is that despite the widespread visibility of these clips, the trend has persisted.

The movie star made it clear that she is drawing a hard line in the sand, stating she will not overlook the malicious content if she uncovers the identities of those responsible.

"If I catch you, I wouldn’t listen to begs o," Toyin warned in a video message. "It’s not a good thing, you keep using 100 of my pictures. Whoever you are... go delete that thing and stop."

Prayers for Long Life and Protection

Reacting to the grim trend, Toyin also offered passionate prayers of protection for her family and community. The actress, who is married to fellow Nollywood actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, rejected the notion of premature tragedy for herself and her loved ones.

She prayed against sudden death for:

  • Her husband and children

  • Her extended relatives

  • Her loyal supporters and fans

  • Even her online critics

Reiterating that no one connected to her would die before their time, Toyin advised the creators to immediately take down the offensive videos and refrain from chasing clout with her life.
