Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa, has shared her views on the role of s3xual compatibility in marriage, arguing that couples should determine whether they are sexually compatible before making a lifelong commitment.
In a post on her 𝕏 handle, the actress stated that individuals who have little or no interest in sex may not be suited for marriage.
Naija Brain reports that Amusa explained that while two virgins may be able to adjust to married life without high sexual expectations, people with previous s3xual experience often have established desires, preferences and expectations that could affect their relationships.
She further argued that living together before marriage should not be viewed solely as an opportunity to share domestic responsibilities, stressing that physical intimacy is a vital aspect of cohabitation.
According to her, s3xual compatibility is among the most important factors couples should consider before deciding to spend their lives together.
She wrote: “If sex is not your thing, you shouldn’t be married and that is why I do not believe people aren’t meant to co-habit before marriage. Two virgins getting married without any wild desires may cope, but for the tested ones, we all have our sexual desires, demands and preferences.
“The essence of co-habitation is beyond cooking and laying of bedsheets. S3x is top three and it’s not even number two or three. Get down with your partners well so you’ll know what you’re planning to live with for life. Know if you’re compatible. I recommend s3xual compatibility before a decision is reached.”
