MC Fish, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, has addressed allegations of infidelity that trailed the collapse of their marriage, insisting that he is "not the first man to cheat" in a relationship.
Speaking during an interview on the Echo Room podcast, the celebrity hype man responded to questions about reports that infidelity contributed to the breakdown of his marriage.
MC Fish also dismissed suggestions of lingering animosity between him and the actress, stating that despite their separation, there is no bad blood between them.
Reflecting on their relationship, he noted that they spent about five years as a married couple after dating for two years before tying the knot.
He said, “There is no enmity between us. I am not the first man to cheat. I was married for five years and have been with that woman for two years.”
Anita Joseph confirmed the end of their marriage in December 2025 after weeks of speculation over the status of their relationship.
Announcing the separation via social media, the actress revealed that she had gone through a period of emotional pain, self-reflection and healing, adding that she had chosen growth, faith and acceptance as she moved on with her life. She also made it clear that the marriage had officially ended.
