Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the state to obey the law, promote peace and make meaningful contributions to their host communities.
Speaking to the corps members, the governor encouraged them to uphold the principles of discipline, unity and patriotism throughout their service year, stressing that their conduct should reflect the core values of the NYSC scheme.
Adeleke also called on them to embrace peaceful coexistence, respect constituted authorities and remain committed to activities that foster national development.
With the Osun governorship election drawing closer, he advised corps members who may be assigned election duties to carry out their responsibilities professionally, impartially and in accordance with the law.
The governor assured them of his administration's continued support for their welfare and security, while encouraging them to leave a positive impact on the communities where they are serving.
