Angela Okorie Accuses Colleagues of Stealing Her ₦100m Film Title, Calls Out Zubby Michael

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has raised concerns over the alleged use of the title of her unreleased movie, Queen of Guns, in another film reportedly linked to actor Zubby Michael.

Okorie claimed she had invested close to ₦100 million in the project and said the title was trademarked, making the reported development a source of concern for her.

The actress also alleged that promotional photographs from her own Queen of Guns project were used to publicise another movie carrying the same title.

Expressing her displeasure over the situation, Okorie questioned how another production could allegedly adopt the title and promotional materials of a project she had invested heavily in.

She subsequently called out Zubby Michael and others she believes are connected to the film, drawing attention to what she described as an infringement on her creative and commercial investment.

The claims have generated reactions among Nollywood followers, with the controversy once again highlighting concerns surrounding intellectual property, trademarks and the protection of creative projects within the Nigerian film industry.
