BBNaija: Goddessa, Sultex Evicted As Mercy Eke Reveals Regret Over Show
Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates Goddessa and Sultex have been evicted from the reality TV show following Sunday’s live eviction show.
The two housemates were sent packing during the latest eviction night after being among the 14 contestants nominated for possible eviction last week.
Their eviction further reduces the number of housemates competing for the ultimate BBNaija prize.
Before Goddessa and Sultex’s exit, Mercedes, Martins Kamsy and Cassi had already been evicted from the show, while Neche voluntarily left the BBNaija house.
Mercy Eke Regrets Participating In BBNaija
Meanwhile, former Big Brother Naija winner and Nollywood actress, Mercy Eke, has opened up about the challenges that came with participating in the reality show.
Mercy revealed that she regrets going on BBNaija despite appreciating the opportunities and benefits the platform brought her.
The reality TV star made the disclosure while featuring on Toke Moments, hosted by media personality Toke Makinwa.
According to Mercy, returning to normal life after the show was difficult because of the fame, pressure and constant public scrutiny that followed her.
She admitted that while BBNaija created several opportunities for her, the attention that came with being a reality TV star became overwhelming.
Speaking about her love life and desire to get married, Mercy said:
“I regret going to Big Brother even though I love the benefits that come from it. I dey fall in love like mumu, now I said to myself that I want to marry, I want to marry, but it’s not easy.”
She also disclosed that she had financially supported some of the men she dated because they could not afford certain things.
“I have dated guys that I have given a lot of money to, not one not two, because they don’t have.”
Mercy further revealed that she eventually left Nigeria to start afresh abroad, where she had to work and adjust to a different way of life.
Her revelation has generated reactions from fans, with many discussing the realities of fame, relationships and life after participating in BBNaija.
