Nigerian singer Portable has generated reactions on social media after releasing a new song that appears to reference reports surrounding the alleged arrest of dancer Poco Lee in the United Kingdom.
In the song, Portable appears to make a direct reference to the trending report with the line, “Won ti grab Poco, for Obodo oyinbo,” suggesting that Poco Lee had been apprehended abroad.
The release quickly caught the attention of social media users, with many interpreting the song as Portable’s reaction to the reports involving the dancer.
Portable and Poco Lee previously worked together on the hit song “Zazoo Zehh,” which also featured Olamide and helped propel Portable to wider recognition in the Nigerian music industry.
The relationship between the two entertainers has, however, experienced its share of controversy, with Portable previously accusing Poco Lee of taking credit and money connected to their collaboration.
Although the singer later apologised over the dispute, their past disagreements have continued to fuel public interest whenever either entertainer mentions the other.
Portable’s latest release has consequently generated fresh conversations online, particularly because it emerged shortly after the reports concerning Poco Lee began circulating.
However, the circumstances surrounding Poco Lee’s reported arrest in the UK remain unclear, and the claim has not been independently confirmed by UK authorities. The reports should therefore be treated as unverified pending further information.
