Woman Remanded in Kirikiri Over Alleged Threats to Mohbad’s Widow. A woman identified as Shoyemi Titilayo has been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after she was arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate Court over alleged threats against the late singer Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba.
Titilayo reportedly faces a five-count charge linked to alleged threatening and inciting statements made during a TikTok broadcast.
The prosecution alleged that the accused made statements targeting Wunmi and her son, Liam, including claims linking the widow to Mohbad’s death and calls for members of the public to subject them to jungle justice.
The alleged offences were said to have occurred between August 2025 and March 2026 along the Lagos-Sango Road.
Following her arraignment, the court ordered that Titilayo be remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre pending further proceedings and the fulfilment of her bail conditions.
The case comes amid continued controversy surrounding the death of Mohbad in September 2023, with social media accusations and legal disputes continuing to generate public attention.
Wunmi has faced various allegations online regarding her husband’s death, although she has denied claims that she was responsible for his demise.
