Isabel Idibia, daughter of legendary singer 2Baba and actress Annie Macaulay, has sparked reactions online after her response to a question about her stepmother, Natasha.
During an interview with Yanga FM, Isabel was asked about her relationship with Natasha. However, she appeared unwilling to discuss the matter, simply responding, “No comment.”
When asked about her relationship with the mothers of her half-siblings, Isabel revealed that she shares a close bond with them, adding that her mother also maintains a good relationship with them.

Also during the interview, Isabel opened up about her relationship with her half-siblings, revealing that she loves them all and shares a close bond with them. According to her, her mother has always encouraged her to maintain a strong relationship with them, adding that everyone makes a conscious effort to stay connected.
The actress’ daughter also acknowledged that her parents’ separation affected her emotionally, but noted that things are gradually getting better.
Isabel’s revelation comes as a surprise to some, following a video that surfaced online last year showing 2Baba’s children from different relationships bonding with his wife, Natasha Osawaru. In the viral clip, 2Baba and Natasha were seen enjoying a boat trip with Annie’s daughters, Isabella and Olivia, as well as his sons, Nino and Zion, whom he shares with his former partner, Sunmbo Adeoye.
Naija Brain reported that on July 25, 2025, the music icon traditionally married Natasha in a low-key ceremony attended by close family members, including his parents.
In November 2025, the couple welcomed their first child together. However, they kept the gender of the newborn private, leaving many Nigerians curious.
In January 2026, 2Baba and Natasha dedicated their child in church. Photos and videos from the ceremony showed the couple and 2Baba’s mother posing with the newborn at a Catholic church.
Last month, an unverified video surfaced online in which Annie allegedly spoke about a possible reunion with 2Baba, claiming she had been misled but eventually found her way back to him.
Reacting to the viral clip, Annie lamented the circulation of old videos and what she described as false reports about her.
In a post on her Snapchat page, she made it clear that she is single and has no plans to return to 2Baba. Annie explained that she no longer lives in his house and is focused on raising her daughters and building her career.
2Baba also dismissed the reconciliation reports, writing, “Abeg na old video o.”
In what appeared to be a cryptic response, Annie later shared a post about karma alongside a video of herself shopping, declaring that God does not play about her.
Shortly after, the actress unveiled a new tattoo covering the Idibia tattoo she previously had in honour of her estranged husband. The new design, a butterfly, replaced the tattoo bearing his surname below her shoulders.
Recall that in January 2025, 2Baba announced his separation from Annie, bringing an end to years of marriage. He has since moved on with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
At last year’s Headies Awards, Annie described her daughters as her backbone, highlighting the important role they play in her life.
While ushering in 2025, Annie also reflected on what she described as her “painful blessings,” noting that the year had thrown many challenges her way, yet she remained standing.
