Blessed Uzochikwa, the husband of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, is celebrating his wife as she marks her birthday today.
Sharing a beautiful video of Mercy, Blessed described her as the “wife of his youth,” the mother of his children, his best friend, and God’s prized possession, while showering her with heartfelt love and admiration.
He revealed that since she came into his life, he has experienced an increase in favour, joy, and blessings on every side. Pastor Blessed said he recognises and deeply appreciates the grace she carries.
He further reaffirmed his love for her, promising to choose her over and over again in every season of life while celebrating the special place she holds in his heart.

Over the years, Pastor Blessed has consistently celebrated his wife, gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, while openly expressing his admiration for her strength, grace, faith, and the impact she has had on his life.
Last year, while celebrating Mercy Chinwo’s birthday, Pastor Blessed revealed that he had watched his wife rise above lies, noise, and various agendas, yet she continued to carry herself with a smile. He noted that her life was a testament to the biblical truth that one person with God is a majority.
As he counted down to his 40th birthday, the clergyman once again showered Mercy with sweet words, thanking God for blessing him with a wife who has consistently stood by his side. According to him, having Mercy in his life brought a completely new dimension to his journey.
In another moment that caught the attention of fans, Pastor Blessed shared a comic video of his wife and gushed over the grace she carries. He declared his willingness to stand against anything or anyone coming against her, while encouraging people to serve God faithfully so they could receive their “exact spec” in a partner.
On Mother’s Day, Pastor Blessed also celebrated Mercy, describing his children as blessed to have her as their mother. He further expressed gratitude for the privilege of walking through life and parenthood alongside her.
Reflecting on Mercy Chinwo’s journey as a gospel artiste, Pastor Blessed recalled that when she won Nigerian Idol in 2012, she had every opportunity to pursue secular music, having already gained significant fame. However, she chose obedience to God over compromise, a decision he said came with four years of waiting.
Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony held on August 12 and 13, 2022, in Mercy’s hometown, Port Harcourt. The celebration attracted several notable personalities, including Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, Chigurl, Joe Praiz, and other celebrities.
In August, Mercy Chinwo marked their fourth wedding anniversary, expressing gratitude to God for another year of love and togetherness while reaffirming her love for her husband.
